ELECTION DAY is Tuesday, November 4. Polls will be open that day from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

EARLY VOTING is October 25 – November 2 at ten sites across Onondaga County. Locations and hours are below.

If you need to register to vote it is quick and easy! Here’s how:

Online: If you have a NY driver’s license or non-driver ID, register at nys.gov/register-vote

By Mail or In-Person:

Download a voter registration form at onondaga.gov/elections

  • Voter Registration forms are also available at post offices, public libraries and City/Town/Village Clerk Offices.
  • Once completed, mail or deliver it to the Onondaga County Board of Elections at 1000 Erie Blvd West, Syracuse, NY 13204.
  • Applications must be received by the Board of Elections no later than October 25, 2025 to be eligible to vote in the General Election.

The qualifications for voting in New York State are as follows:

  • Be a U. S. citizen
  • Be 18 years old (you may preregister at 16 or 17 but cannot vote until 18)
  • Not be in prison for a felony conviction
  • Not claim the right to vote elsewhere
  • Not found to be incompetent by a court
